The Shift Command patch is the shape of the “shit funnel” with Dirt Rangers at the top and Khaki at the bottom point. The sword represents command. (Note that it is facing downward, as we are peaceful. This is also a reference to the “sword of Damocles”.) The 3, 6, and 9 represent the roles assumed by 3 Khakis in a geographic division of the city whenever it is split, with “Khaki 6” in the middle. The lightning bolts represent radio transmissions, with a longer black one at the top (unclear) the grey in middle (clarifying situation and working towards soluton) and a short white one at the bottom (clarity, brevity, decision, and proper action).
